NOTICE If you are Veteran and do NOT have a Military ID card or a VA ID card for health care or disabilities, you can apply for a Veterans ID card.  This card will allow you to receive discounts in places like: LOWES, HOME DEPOT and many restaurant. The Boy Scouts will hold a car wash from 8:30 - 12:00.

 

August 15 - ALA Dinner

Pepper steak dinner by Helen and Phyllis will be served from 6:00 PM for $7.00.

 

August 18 - Car Wash

The Boy Scouts will hold a car wash from 8:30 - 12:30.

 

August 18 - Patrick and Elaine's Anniversary & Patrick's Retirement Party

Celebrate Patrick and Elaine's Anniversary and Patrick's Retirement from the Post Office. There will be food but feel free to bring your favorite finger foods, chicken wings, pizza, desserts etc. in disposable dishes (no dishwashing on this night). Music by Pat Foy and friends (Conch Critters) from 8 PM to Midnight.

 

August 22 - SAL Dinner

Charcoal grilled pork chops, roasted potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert. By Cowboy and Cliff. Served from 6:00 PM for $7.00.

 

August 25 - Last Day to sign up for the Cruise to Cozumel

We are in the process of putting together the 1st Annual Post 152 Cruise to Cozumel. Brilliance of the Seas will sail out of Tampa on April 25, 2019.  If you want to share the experience of sailing with your American Legion Family, please sign the sheet before August 25, 2018.  Should there be enough interest, exact prices and info will follow shortly.  Approximate total cost for 2 passengers, for 4 nights, depending on the cabin category, will be between $1075 - $1600. A non-refundable deposit of $200 per cabin is required by October 15, 2018. Full Payment will be due on January 15, 2019.

 

August 25 - Car Wash

Sickles AFJROTC will hold a car wash from 8:00 - 12:00.

 

August 29 - ALA Dinner

Dinner by Kathy served from 6:00 PM for $7.00. Proceeds to Children and Youth.

 

September 2 - 3

Membership kick off.  Membership chairmen will be at the Post form 1 - 3 PM for you convenience to renew your membership

 

September 2 - BBQ Extravaganza

Half chicken, or 10 oz Rib Eye steak or  6 ribs, baked potato, roasted corn, sides & dessert by Bob and Bonnie. Serving starts at 2 PM for $10.00. You must sign up for your choice of dinner. List is on the foyer door.

 

September 5 - Commander's Dinner

Dinner by the Commander served from 6:00 PM for $7.00.

 

September 8 - September Birthday Celebration

Celebrate the birthday of all whose Birthday is in September.  8 PM. See Paula Smith for more details.

 

September 11 - Patriot Day

Flag waving 7:45 - 8:45 AM. Show that Post 152 will never forget!!

 

September 12 - ALA Dinner

Lasagna dinner by Bonnie served from 6:00 PM for $7.00.

 

September 15 - Car Wash

The AFJROTC will hold a car wash from 8:00 - 12:00.

 

September 26 - SAL Dinner

Dinner by the SAL served from 6:00 PM for $7.00.

 

September 30 - Wreaths Across America Golf Tournament

Bob and Bonnie are sponsoring a golf tournament at the Silver Dollar Gold Course. 8 AM shotgun start followed by a steak dinner the American Legion Post 152. $50.00 per person.  Sign up sheets are available at the Post. The American Legion Centennial Celebration is not only about honoring the past 100 years of our history, but also preparing to continue our legacy of service. Events and activities at posts all around the world will showcase The American Legion "Still Serving America."
